New Clients

Welcome to Goose & Co!

We’re so glad you’re here — and we can’t wait to meet your pup.

At Goose & Co., grooming is calm, thoughtful, and tailored to your dog as an individual. This page walks you through what to expect before your first visit so everything feels easy, familiar, and stress-free

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Paperwork & Policies

For first-time clients, a brief digital intake form and policy agreement will be sent after booking.

These forms help us understand your pup’s needs, confirm vaccinations status, and ensure a smooth, stress-free visit.

Please complete all forms prior to your appointment.

Before You Arrive

Please Arrive On Time

  • Arriving on time helps keep the day calm and unrushed for everyone.

  • If you’re running behind, just let us know — communication goes a long way.

Potty Before You Party

  • A quick potty break before drop-off helps your pup start their groom relaxed and comfortable.

How Long Will It Take?

  • Grooming time varies, but most appointments fall within these ranges:

    • Bath & Blowout: 1–2 hours

    • Full Groom: 2–3.5 hours

    • Puppy Essentials: 45–75 minutes

  • We’ll text you as soon as your pup is ready.

Pick-Up Window

  • Once your dog’s groom is complete, we kindly ask that they be picked up within 15 minutes of notification.

  • Extended waiting can increase anxiety for dogs, and Goose & Co. is a grooming studio — not a daycare.

  • Late pickup fees may apply and are outlined in our FAQ and client forms.

  • If you anticipate being late, please let us know as soon as possible. When communicated ahead of time, we’re always happy to work with you when we can.

What We Provide

  • Premium shampoos and conditioners

  • Warm towel wraps

  • Calm, low-stress handling

  • Modern grooming equipment

  • A quiet, spa-inspired environment

  • Heart-melting photos when your pup cooperates

What You Provide

  • Proof of current rabies vaccination

  • Notes about sensitivities, quirks, or special needs

  • Haircut inspiration photos (if applicable)

  • Treat preferences (optional, but always welcome)

For Puppy Parents

  • Your puppy’s first few grooms may not be “perfect” — and that’s completely okay.

  • Puppy grooming is about positive exposure, patience, and learning that grooming can be a safe, calm experience. We focus on building trust first and worry about perfection later.
